I buy the understanding that the matter is the reasonable reality of the universe and our life. In other worlds, we live in a materialized world, which is not manipulable through pure thoughts without actual deeds. Our bodies are also physically existing. Somebody may say that your physical body is just a carrier of the spiritual you. Alright, then so what? The two, body and spirit still have to coexist. It is the point that I want to argue about.
I am not saying emotions, feelings, thoughts and spiritual practices are pointless and powerless. After all, beyond our physical existence in the physical world, our feelings are the major ruler to measure and define the point of our own lives. And feelings do not come out of nowhere, they always have some relations with what’s happening in the physical world or to the physical you, although sometimes the relations are not clearly comprehensible.
I don’t go with pure materialism or idealism since I am not a robot and I have my own spiritual world that guide me through the daily physical practices so as to improve the world round me, in a small or large scale, and to experience a fruitful life from both materialized or idealized perspectives.
