“Wise” people can see far and can notice more details than ordinary people. Seems to make sense.
“Stupid” people cannot handle complicated situation or cannot even realize the complications. Seems to make sense.
But here is the thing:
Due to their sharp eyes and minds to detect more details, “wise ” people are so vulnerable to be distracted by these overwhelming details as to halt and think. They cannot take full actions before they figure out a through plan, which resulted in slow progress.
On the contrary, “stupid” people simply put down their heads and keep walking. They are not distracted by anything since they may not notice anything so they have no worries in the mind. As long as they pick a direction, maybe irrationally, they keep walking.
The final reality is that no matter how thought a plan you make, that plan relies on your accumulated steps so the “stupid” people are now closer to the finish line.
It not bad that you can see more or less details, but do you want to perform as the “wise” people or the “stupid” people?
