All aspects of life are internally connected since life is a unity.
There should a spirit threading all components of one’s life that can be reflected based on the life pattern.
A decent person should be decent everywhere in his life, career, friends and family. If he is not decent in one aspect, he can hardly perform decently in the rest. Being decent is building up negentropy, living in a mass is a natural process.
You have to and are supposed to be decent in all aspects in your life.
Maybe you think you can focus on one aspect first and then use your spare time to slowly work on other aspects. However, this strategy is almost unrealistic since the entropy from others aspects can easily ruin your effort on your primary aspect. Meanwhile, the momentum of living a mess in most of your aspects can easily infect your healthy decent part.
Life is a unity, same as we as each individual.

是的。没有局部，就没有整体！
不仅仅生命的个体是个统一体，其实，宇宙空间里的一切都统摄在一个共同的统一体中，无论是有情生命体，还是无情器世界！主观有境世界与客观对镜世界，也一样统一在虚空法界中！胸怀可以无限广大，有言说到：地球是海洋十分广阔，但是比海洋更广阔的是天空，比天空更广阔的是人的心灵！胸怀广大，格局就高远开阔，事业就能恢弘壮阔。
但再大的局面，也是由微小的局部组成并影响着。没有局部，就不成其为大！局部的质量也决定了整体的质量！高远处着眼，低微处下手！避免局部涣散整体！
