This world is indifferent, neither nice nor hostile. Maybe most of the time, the small world around you is a little bit nicer than neutral.
But you can’t take that tiny nicer for granted. You can’t assume that people around will serve you and only do good to you.
The world may not be that depressing. But when you assume no one will initiate giving you what you want and you yourself start the first step or even do it by yourself, you may find the world turn surprisingly nicer to you than usual.
