The ultimate form of me is a walking soul.
Only my soul matters and only my soul could be immortal. The soul can’t be killed and will not vanish over time.
The soul is a rough unit that summarizes all your characteristics within. The flesh will be gone, social status will be replaced by others, wealth is just an external number used to roughly describes your value. But only soul remains even after death and also goes along with you towards the afterlife.
I want to do huge amount of work to purify myself to be a pure walking soul. At least a weak body cannot hold such a strong soul.
