We work hard within to build up a solid splendid internal unversed of ourselves so that any changes happening in the external world will not take away our peaceful mind and optimism about life which is immortal within our internal universe. Thus, whether the external change is positive or negative, good luck or bad luck no longer matters and we are always ourselves.
One step further, there is no good time or bad time, we should perform differently. We should always present the best form of ourselves.
Same analogy also applies to a nation. Don’t feel lost in good times and bad times, always do your best. It not about chasing others or being chased, it about being fully responsible for oneself and cherishing the great bless to once exist.
