We chase after beauty and quality for their value that reflects the devoted heart blood and time. Efforts do not have witnesses, which makes us self-doubted. However, eventually the efforts converted into value, beauty and quality become sensible and appreciated. This converting is not serendipity thanks to the one dimensional time.
